1800Wheelchair.com is proud to announce our second annual scholarship award. Established in 2006, the scholarship fund will award one $500 scholarship to an undergraduate student on January 30, 2008. The scholarship is open to students of any major or concentration. The winner's name, essay and photo will be posted on 1800wheelchair.com. To qualify for entry, participants must meet the following criteria:

* Enrolled at an accredited college or university in the U.S.
* Enrolled at the undergraduate level
* Legal resident of the U.S. or hold a valid student visa
* Carry a status of “Good Standing”
* Maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0
* Submit their essay by for 12:00 p.m. (noon) EST on December 20, 2007
* Essay should be 300 to 500 words in length

The essay question is: What advice would you give to your college’s faculty and administration to help your school better assist students with disabilities?
